Reservation policy


Refund for cancellation of purchase:

According to the consumer code, online reservations have up to 7 consecutive days for cancellation with full refund, provided that the interval from the reservation date to check-in is more than 7 consecutive days.

Cancellation of reservation due to force majeure

The hostel reserves the right to cancel the reservation in the following situations:

Changes in government travel requirements. Unexpected changes in visa or passport requirements imposed by a government agency that prevent travel to the destination. This does not include lost or expired travel documents or other personal situations related to a guest's travel authorization.

Declared emergencies and epidemics. Local or national emergencies, epidemics, pandemics, and public health emergencies declared by the government. This does not include endemic diseases or those commonly associated with a region, such as malaria in Thailand or dengue fever in Hawaii.

Government travel restrictions. Travel restrictions imposed by a government agency that prevent or prohibit travel to, stay or return from the Accommodation location. This does not include non-binding travel alerts and similar government guidance.

Military actions and other hostilities. Acts of war, hostilities, invasions, civil war, terrorism, explosions, bombings, rebellions, riots, civil unrest and civil disturbances.

Natural disasters. Natural disasters, fortuitous events, large-scale disruptions of essential utilities, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and other severe and atypical weather events. This does not include weather or natural conditions common enough to be predictable in this location, such as hurricanes that occur during Florida’s hurricane season.

Cancellation by the guest:

The 30% payment to confirm the reservation is non-refundable. If the cancellation request is communicated up to 14 consecutive days before the check-in date, it can be used as credit for a future reservation with a new check-in date within 6 months.

Refund Methods:

If payment was made via PIX or bank transfer, it will be refunded to the same account that made the transfer.

If the payment was made by credit card, the refund will be made in the card’s payment platform. If this is not possible, you will be refunded by pix, deducting the transaction fee.
